i have had 3 sim cards still no data working

OK, two obvious questions:
1. You have got mobile data turned on, haven't you?
2. Do you have the correct set-up? I'm not familiar with iPhones, but other platforms use APNs. These normally install themselves when you insert a SIM, but you can also text WEB to 40127 to get them sent to you. If that's how it works, and you can view the settings, you should see Vodafone Contract/PAYG wap (depending on whether you're pay monthly or PAYG) set as the default.
If non of that helps, I think I'd drop into a Vodafone shop and get them to have a look. It's either something blindingly obvious or there's a fault, possibly with the device.

They clearly do - check the other threads on here around cellular data for both iPhone 6 and 6 plus. Read by thousands of people and dating back several months - yet still Vodafone are unable to resolve the issue or even swiftly rectify once it arises.
I wish I had found this forum before I switched as I would never have bothered knowing what I now do (and the countless problems experienced).
