Hi
I have recently connected to Vodafone broadband and I am using the Vodafone Connect router. So far I am impressed with the speed and quality of the router, but I cannot see my media server on my Xbox 360 any more. The NAS I am using is the Seagate Goflex Home. I have not had any problems with previous routers and I am sure I am missing the obvious in the set up. Any help would be gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance.

Just wanted to ask wether people are still experiencing problems with this, recently switched to vodafone and have had nothing but problems with my dlna server showing up on the vodafone router and it only seems to work with devices that are conected by etherent. Works fine on the old bt hub I am using as an extender for my wireless devices upstairs but if I connect to the vodafone router I lose connection to the dlna server. I tried removing the bt router thinking that it may be interfering with the dlna server and replaced it with a switch but my sever still dosent show up on the vodafone router when connecting wirelessly. I also have probelms with remote desktop connection not working when I connect to the vodafone router wirelessly all of these things work fine if i connect to the bt hub.
I would use another router but I looked around on other posts that the community has done and it looks as if it is difficult to get the login settings.

I have just signed up, service was conneceted on Monday 24th and setup all of my devices.
I am experiencing similar issues to this thread, moved from exactly the same setup in a house with a BT HomeHub and everything worked fine.
Devices connected directly with wired LAN connections noticeably drop off the network frequently, the wireless seems more stable.
Connection speeds look fine, I have raised a support case and they so far seemed good and advised in the early stages this could be the changing of the network to test the speeds available to me, we'll wait and see.
When the wired devices disconnected they dont come back on unless the router is restarted, Wireless come back fine.
I work from home and the main wired device is an IP phone I use for work, this works fine in many other locations with no issues. Also use RDP connections for work, connections via RDP seems to inexplicibally stop working, when other internet based services are available (server end is fine, tested from mobile internet sharing, with o2).
Not ideal so far, hopeful for quick results from support.

if Vodafone can't post a link correctly, what chance have we got of this issue ever being resolved.
I've been experiencing these issues for about a year now. Totally unacceptable. Called endless times to ask for my username/password so that I can use my own router, but this isn't possible either...

Why is there a delay in finding as solution to this. I am new to Vodafone Broadband, and if I had spotted this before I considered moving then I wouldnt had done it.
Rebooting the router every day is futile, just to be able to access documents as well getting Sonos connected via Bridge to access music which had no issues using Sky.
Likely to be leaving in less than a week of service.

Hi @neukenuk and @stuarttracey,
I've checked the link and it's working in FireFox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Our full statement is available here.

Seriously, this has been going on for over a year? Just came to use Plex, to stream some content to my TV and found no devices can discover my server.
The mobile app has to route requests via an external proxy to be able to play local content, which means content is having to be transcoded down, sent over the internet and then back to me, which is nuts.
Also VF - your statement URL doesn't work - I'd recommend trying this for yourself outside of your corp network. Please, please, please don't patronise people on this forum with a canned response of 'clear cache and cookies'.
