I'm having problems with my VSS3 - Calls get dropped and the device goes offline every now and then leaving the power light flashing and orange internet light solid. To get it working again I have to switch the unit off and back on again. I hope someone can help me.

Hi,
Yesterday it was showing the power light on solid and 'internet light' and 'in service light' as solid green, however at about 9pm, the 'internet light' was flashing and the 'in service light' had switched off.
This morning it was showing the power light on solid and 'internet light' and 'in service light' as solid green.
I have noticed that when I get or make a call that I can hear them but I sound "broken up" to them. If it starts to fail again I will try it out at another location.

At 10:15 this morning the SS seems to have failed, the power light is flashing and the internet light is solid orange the other lights are all off. Any more ideas ?

Hi,
The same thing happened this morning power light flashing and internet light on solid orange.
It might be a while before I can try the sure signal at a different location as I don't know anyone close by.
Are you able to see if the sure signal is connecting and disconnecting in anyway at your end ? can you monitor it ?

Hi James,
Yes I'm still having the same issue, power light flashing and solid orange internet light, the only way to reset it is to turn the power off and back on again - last time this was done was last night at about 9pm.
It is definately a Version 3 plug in type unit.

Hi,
I haven't been able to get to another location to try the VSS out. It hasn't seemed to connected for the past few days now, all I get is the power light on solid and nothing else then after a restart the power light is on solid and the internet light flashing but it never progresses any further. Has anything registered at your end over the last few days ?

Hi,
I've finally managed to try the sure signal out at a different location and all that happened was that the power light stayed on solid and the internet light would flash for a while, then stop and then flashed for a while - this just repeated in a cycle. This also happens at my location.
Do you have any more ideas ?
