Tried  atraceroute and got this...

 

Resetting does not work it just results in green power light on permenantly.

i have found the problem some idiot ast vodafone decided to de register the box for inactivity.  it has only been in daily use for 3 years so someone needs sacking.

 

not only that but i have been on the phone for over 30 mins to someone who does not speak english that well and i dont have any confidence this will be resolved.....why mess when it works.

I have used it for the last 3 years or more....so Vodfone now admit THEY have a serious problem. ALL they can suggest is disconnect the sure signal they delte me from the system....wait 20 mins and re register AGAIN.

 

THIS does not solve the probem.  I told them it wont but they seem incapable of listening.

I, like so many other people it seems, received an email last week from Vodafone stating that my sure signal had been suspended due to 'inactivity' - which is utter bull as I use it every single day!

 

I have called, emailed and used Live Chat - all to no avail - the box is still refusing to play ball.

 

I've got a v1 sure signal - the top light is solid green, the 2nd light flashes intermittently - the other 2 lights are off completely.

 

I've done 3 factory resets on it and someone from Vodafone has tried to resync the device (over the course of a couple of hours, the 4th light would flash about 30 times, then go off).

 

I'm getting sick to death of not being able to use my phone at home - I'm missing calls and texts from work.  Why they had to 'suspend it due to inactivity' is beyond me - I just want this issue sorting ASAP.

 

The sure signal serial number is 21223138021 and my postcode is in my profile.

Your problem is identical to mine.  Even down to the same lights coming on and of etc.  ITs a massibe(Removed according to House Rules)

 up my vodafone who have the audacity to keep charging us despite the fact THEY have caused the problem...

Says no more than we already know...EXCEPT that it claims that only inactive sure signal boxes are affected when we all know that we hace been affected and our boxes were in daily use.

Have managed to register my sure signal however have tried to submit users on several occasions without success. I keep getting told that there is a technical error and to try later. I am trying to add about ten numbers this is extremely frustrating,, what's the point of being with vodaphone when I cannot get a signal in my own home yet if I go just round the. Corner the signal is there.
