vodafone protect app locked device

I have the vodafone protect app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace), I took my simcard out and ever since the vodafone protect app has locked it. It asks for a pin number, and when I try to reset my pin on the vodafone website it comes up blank

I can't remember my password or pin.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Any particular reason you're looking to remove the app? It's a great service for keeping your phone secure.

If you do want to cancel, you can do so by signing in here.

Once you've done that, just uninstall the app like any other.

I am the same my company have moved to EE today 21/05/2014 i didnt know the app was on the phone, i changed the sim cards over and it locked the phone now its asking for a PIN i don't know what the Pin is what can i do

Vodafone Protect locked my partners phone when we were talking to the 24/7 chat for help (they asked us to swap SIMs).  I managed to unlock my phone, but my partner has forgotten his 6 digit pin.  He goes to reset, receives an email from there you click on the link and takes you to the website.  You put in the phone number click forgotten pin.  Nw here is the issue - It sends the PIN via SMS but the phone is locked, so you can see the PIN....any ideas, anyway to get the PIN sent to email?

Hi. Can you not put his sim in your unlocked phone (or someone elses) to receive the code then unlock his.

Hi, Just tried this, but instead of receiving a 6 digit PIN they send a new vodafone password, which is no use.
