Meant to be activated but still not a week on.

Well not impressed with Vodafone so far meant to be activated on 2/8/24 but now a week on still not activated, made numerous phonecalls web chats, with promises to get me up and running, I feel like I'm being lied to. And actually have because they told me that openreqch would contact to arrange a appointment when they don't do that.

Sky worked fine why doesn't this work.

Effie you have billed me twice  so I should have an account set up. Also billing people before activation shouldn't really happen.

Also two engineers have said it's your router that is problem, I don't see the issue sending a new one out it's worth a try but apparently now I have to wait until Monday before Vodafone even think about sending one, because of your insane internal processes.

Unfortunately contacting the broadband team is next to useless as they will promise to call you back and then don't bother.

I am sorry for the experience you are having so far @johnnyc77 We can absolutely pass all of this feedback on. Once you are up and running, we can absolutely correct the bills and remove the charges for you. The Broadband team will need to be the ones to continue working on getting you activated though as the Social Team are unable to work any technical broadband queries.

The problem is they don't seem to be trying. I must have spent over 24 hours on the phone to yourselfs and it's me chasing, your broadband team do not seem to care and just make excuses, how do I escalate higher than the broadband team.

If you speak to the Social Media Team, they can raise a complaint for you and immediately escalate this to our Broadband Complaints team.

Well after eventually getting a new router sent out which arrived Saturday 7th September and still flashing red, another engineer was sent out on Wednesday 11th September, who has managed to get it so there Is a solid white light on front and the internet on back is showing green. However when you connect to it there Is no internet on various devices.H

ad a couple of calls and they say they have updated it at their end and ask me to reset or unplug and leave for 30 minutes which after it still doesn't work.

It's now 42 days of no internet I have been charged twice for it despite no service.

Think I'm going to have to cancel as it seems it's never going to work despite sky broadband working fine.

Thanks for letting us know the latest @johnnyc77 I'm sorry to see this still hasn't been resolved. As advised by Effie, I'd recommend that you drop us a message on our social channels and get this raised as a complaint - we'll get it escalated into correct area for you.

Well now activated last Thursday took 40 odd days, book now activated, the people I spoke to in the last week were .pre proactive than the previous month.

Vodafone will have to pay me 40 odd days compensation which I hope I don't have to call about

I'm glad it's finally sorted but Vodafone needs to be more proactive with resolution, as I think if I had spoke to the right people it would have been solved a lot sooner.

Thank you for sharing this @johnnyc77, sorry for all the trouble you've faced. We have an automatic broadband compensation scheme, more on this can be found here. Should you ever have any questions, feel free to reach our team via the contact information found here
