I cannot contact Vodafone, I've tried telephone, live chat, nothing works. I need to cancel social tariff broadband being installed next month.
Don't want to waste engineers time.

What do you mean by "nothing works". I've never had a problem calling them on 08080 034 515 (unless you consider a long wait sometimes a problem)
Also live chat on https://www.vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd/ works for me. (if you get the never ending spinning circle, try a different browser)

Spinning circle, yes.
Cannot get through the robot hoops to speak to a human.
I will not waste anymore of my time, rather I will wait for the call 2 days before installation to advise I am not proceeding. Of course, the modem will have arrived by then; I will return in a prepaid bag.

@Alleister Try the link that @Jayach gave you in a private browser window. Try the phone number that he also gave you. It is unusual for these solutions not to work.
