I signed up for Voda fibre ( already connected to the house - currently a BT customer )
I was given an activation date, which passed and after 30 days was given a credit to my account.
I enquired when I would be live, and was told it was in fact live now, although my BT was still working.
The agent told me, because I had been given a new number by Voda, it was up to me to cancel the BT line, is this correct, I thought everything would be handled by Voda ?
When I connect the router I get a solid white light, but no internet connection. Is this because it’s picking up the BT signal but can’t connect to it ?
I’m a bit loath to cancel BT - I never received confirmation of activation from Voda, so I’m not at all sure I’m connected.

Sadly it’s all been a complete mess. Today I got a text message saying an engineer was going to call me from an 0808 number, not 60 secs later I got another text saying they had tried to call me but there was no answer. Clearly the engineers were just trying to clear their backlog. That was the last straw. I cancelled the contract today.

I’m having the same issues. No one at Vodofone taking ownership and I’m getting passed from pillar to post. Unable to speak to ANYONE who can help. I would never use this company and will never recommend 🤬
