I have a vodafone thg3000.
How and where can you change wifi channel on the above router?
Logged into my router I go to WiFi tab at the top of the page, then select "WiFi Settings".
Only choices I see 2.4 Ghz, wifi mode, mixed 802.11b/g/n
Bandwidth 20mhz
And 5 Ghz, mixed 802.11n/ac
Bandwidth 20/40/80 Mhz
There is no option to change channel. I ask as there are a few neighbours on vodafone internet too.

before connecting to voda, enable manual DNS and use a 3rd party dns provider that provides filtering. block vodafone domain. ta-da (maybe)

Its OK I have 2 vodafone ultra hubs, the one I posted was an unused spare for playing around with so it doesn't matter if anything happens to it....I can always create a PPPoE server on my mikrotik and see what happens

really baffling they disabled that monitoring, which was useful.

It's terrible that Vodafone does not let you choose the WiFi channel. Unfortunately because of this Vodafone will be losing 2 customers my parents & myself when the contracts expire in the next 6 months. Less conflicting choice is always a bad decision by management that have zero idea what they are talking about.

I have just re activated the thg3000 becsuse it has more practical use ie connectivity ,than the useless new super hub.
I have found an old version of the broadband app and it allows channel changes no problem.
Again, it is typical these days new versions of things invented by apparently green out of university students with no common sense pushing things on the market that are no improvement but of course generating income for the stake holder.
Just think about this, you buy a new car these days it don't even have a oil dipstick, how crazy can that be. We have to rely on electronic chip sensors thousands of em, no balance these days, just have loads a money baby....

@Jrqp1111 I doubt it was anything to do with someone "green out of university" but rather the bean counters trying to cut costs.

it is only how the code is written, dont cost nothing more.......

Don't cost nothing less either. It's deliberate.

Things are locked down so Joe Public can't get themselves into trouble with the settings. This means lower requirements for the Egyptian call centre that C/S is farmed out to, ultimately bringing costs right down. This means you get to enjoy the cheapest nationwide broadband in the uk.
Or be like a lot of us and use your own router rather than that doorstop.

the call centre is useless, sorry, better to ask anybody in vodafone shop who looks remotely intelligent ...
