had my 900 put in yesterday

had my fiber 900 broadband installed yesterday around 10am all up and running by 12pm left it for 3or4 hours by 6.30pm it was up and running connected i am getting around  830 down 109 up so let us see how i go in the next ten days 😊😊

Absolutely nothing should change in the next 10 days. That is only for FTTC.

FTTP is what it is, there is no good reason it should change.

Yup our 900/100 BT fibre went in 9 days ago and it's been a constant 933/103 since fitting.  What does appear to be changing is that our latency seems to make small step changes every now and then.  So at fitting the ping to the Cloudflare servers was around 11ms, 2ms higher than on FTTC, but it's now dropped to pretty much the same!

 

In context, fast.com now registers at just 5ms - from memory significantly less than it used to be.
