My Superfast 2 went live on 14/05 and my broadband keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, red bar light flashes on the router and the internet light flashes red. After 10 mins the internet light turns solid green.
I understand my speeds will be slow as they are being optimised but why does my internet keep disconnecting and re connecting ?
I did live chat on the night of the 14th as it has been happening since day 1, and was told this is normal?
Vodafone must be the only company to do this as with my past 4 internet providers I never had this issue
I did try to reach out on twitter last night but to no joy
Can anyone take a look at this ? I would phone but the wait times are ridiculous

Finally got through to tech support and was told to plug my internet cable into the master socket and leave it in for 48 - 72hrs
But now I have no internet full stop, do I really have to go 3 days with absolutely no internet ? It's gone from intermittent connection to non now
Think I will be leaving, I'm still in cooldown period

Okay, if you remove the faceplate from the BT wall-wart, plug a filter directly into the master socket, and then plug the modem cable into the filter one end and the modem router at the other you should get the same if not better connection than you would by plugging in the filter into faceplate on the wall-wart.
If you have no connection, then try another filter and if that still doesn't work try another cable!
If none of that makes any sense then I'd suspect that your VF support may not have explained things very well.
Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Hi keith
I have done that, removed the face plate and plugged my internet cable into a microfilter and then plugged that into the test socket. Internet isnt working.
Internet cable plugged in with the face plate attached and the internet works but it is intermittent
I have tried x3 different microfilters and 3x different internet cable and i get the same result
I did also think the master socket would be better but in this case it's the other way around, works intermittently with face plate or not at all plugged directly in the master socket
