Hi all. I'd like to know, if someone has the Vodafone broadband app on their device and it's connected to my router, but they DO NOT have access to the online My Vodafone account or My Vodafone app, will they be able to switch on or off the watershed (which protects not to be able to access adult sites etc.) ?
Also, is it possible to change on that app the password of the router (not the wifi)

Hi @Custo90voda! Have you registered your online account with us through the website? If not, please click here to do this. You're able to schedule your Wi-Fi to turn off and on again within the Vodafone Broadband app, please click here for more information on the Vodafone Broadband app.
You'd need to enter the router itself to be able to change the password. To do this, please click here to view our Vodafone Broadband guide, pages 5 and 6 under Managing your Vodafone Broadband router’s settings. Please let us know how you get on 🙂

Thanks for your answer.
I meant to ask, if I set up 'content control' on MyVodafone (to block certain websites), and only I have the password of the online account, but someone has the Vodafone broadband app, and I connect it to my router (to change channels, frequency etc.), will that person be able to switch off the watershed, so the content control feature will be disables (without logging in to MyVodafone)?

Hi @Custo90voda, the content controls on the home broadband service can only be controlled from the My Vodafone App or online account. For this feature you will need to sign in with your username and password.
From the broadband App, you set up and change the WiFi Scheduler. This will allow the user of the broadband App to set up times that the WiFi is switched on or off.
If you have user's with the broadband App only, they shouldn't be able to change the content controls. Hope this helps 👍

Thanks! And what if they have the password to login to the router (by connecting to it, and going to http://vodafone.connect or 192.168. 1.1 and entering the password for the router, can they switch off there the watershed (so the content control will be deactivated) ?

Yes they can, by changing the DNS servers.
