I’ve tried to set my Broadband content controls to safe as we have children in the house but they don’t work! When I click the link on the website is says “nothing to see here”. The app just gives me a blank page. Spent 2 hours on chat/call. Still nothing. I was sent a direct link to the content controls page but that doesn’t work either. What is going on? Thanks

I was confused by that at first, as well as setting the controls, you have to make sure they are switched on.
Also you must not be using custom DNS settings. (You probably aren't if you have made no changes to the router)

This is what I get when I access the content controls.

This is what I get if I access it through mobile data (three network). Still doesn’t work though.

You are obviously using the mobile app, personally I would never try to do anything via a mobile app.
If I try I just get a blank screen.
If you can try using a browser on a PC.

Still doesn’t work, app or PC browser

It's got me beat then, you will have to speak to Vodafone. It will not be a pleasant experience. You have my sympathy.

So went on my laptop and after some faffing around with “oops page not found” on the VF website I got to the controls, which were set to safe. I changed them to super safe just to see and it worked on my laptop! Adult content blocked!
I tried to access the same websites on my phone….not blocked 😭 I was using the VF Wi-Fi.
Tried again on my laptop….not blocked 😭
After a lengthy conversation with VF tech support and trying what I already have the best they could come up with was add adult content websites to the blocked list 🙈 all 10,000+ of them. Then they said it must be a problem with my device and to contact the manufacturer.
I give up! Time to move provider which is a shame as never had a problem with the service. Thanks for anyone who tried to help.

So what are the options for a none tech person?
