I've been using Vodafone VDSL for years and am about to be upgraded to Fibre by Openreach.
On the telegraph poles near my house we have Openreach fibre but also Fibre Heroes and their associated providers.
If in the future I were to swap to a company like EE or Talk Talk I know they would use the same fibre connection as Vodafone as supplied by Openreach.
But if I swapped to a fibre heroes company would they use my existing Openreach fibre connection or would they want to install their own fibre line and Modem/ONT?
Thank Robin

I hadn't heard of Fibre Heroes, but googling suggest they are a collaboration of smaller alt-nets, not an ISP, so their fibre connection will be separate from Openreach. https://fibreheroes.co.uk/about-us/

Fibre Heroes, like most isps, will use whatever is available. You have openreach, they'll use openreach.
