My wife's iPhone shows no issues but despite a restart and a monthly update being applied, my mobile experiences NUMEROUS instances of wifi/Internet pauses/lack of online response and full disappearance of WiFi (WiFi icon will disappear and/or it has a warning exclamation mark). Apart from the WiFi icon dissappearing, I can't confirm if the Internet/fibre link is also at fault. The router is literally 3 metres from me.

Tried a speed test on my phone and it won't connect to the the test server after 5 minutes!

@LagrangeL2 Which brand and model is the mobile phone that is experiencing problems?
Please go to the router logs and look for any error messages. If the log is a bit confusing, then cut and paste the bits you want help with.

@LagrangeL2 The auto spelling correction changed what I had typed, originally I wrote "The S23 is broken".
If you type "Samsung S23 WiFi issues" into Google you will get many results.

I have this router https://youtu.be/4e7gtxZG7hw?si=LCYDrDz5Hr3JGxmS which doesn't seem to support WiFi 6 and which is what the sammobile article says to switch off on the router.

On the phone, go to WiFi, 3 Dots at top, settings, and turn off the turn off the auto turn on/off function and the Hotspot 2.0 function.
