Gigacube with mesh wifi?

I've got poor wifi signal in parts of the house.

I want to keep the speed as fast as I can and I was considering installing Eero. They've just released a cheaper version that will be available in the UK soon.

To do so and not get double NAT and slower speeds, I'm told I would need to put the router into bridge mode. Is this true? Is this even possible?

Would it be sufficient to simply turn off the wifi part of the Gigacube and connect it to the Eero via ethernet?

Any advice or information greatly appreciated as I'm struggling!

Thanks.

Thanks for getting in touch @james948. The Gigacube does have a port so in theory it could be bridged; if you're running through switches etc, you may need to change the Ethernet settings to 'only LAN' for stability. We can't guarantee that this will work, as it's not set up for this type of connection though. There's a similar thread here, that might be helpful.
