Hi...I'm freaking out here.
I am trying to link my Asus router in Access Mode to the Ultrahub. I also have a phone line so they both need to be connected.
I have tried the ethernet from ONT to the Asus - nothing happens and Have connected both together - ONT to Ultrahub LAN and Ultrahub WAN to ASUS LAN and again nothing. It's impossible to get to the ASUS GUI as It won't connect to the internet.
I actullay had this set up recently without any issues (had to do nothing) and have also reset the Asus to factory settings via reset button and did the set up as described in the manual (which i didn't even read before...Please help is you can - TIA

Yes, sorry. Change from those Cloudflare servers to those suggested above. Then a realistic test would be your lobby time on the game server.

Typical...!!!
I've spent all day recabling and setting everything up including using my old router for AIMesh and then they go and change my Gateway from Leeds to ?Nottingham (84.65.192.1) - My latency is now even worse:

That appears to be Birmingham.
Just where are you?

Birmingham..OMG It's worse than I thought... I am in Glasgow!!!! My gaming tonight has been ridiculous - ages to join games and consistently high latency - My BQM is now worse than it was with VM

Birmingham? I've just been switched back to the Edinburgh gateway.
This is totally ridiculous.
I'm phoning the broadband team today with a few choice words. I'm also going to ask about Ipv6, for sure now.

Getting pretty sick of this now tbh... Why are you asking about Ipv6..Is that a better line or something?

So my UPDATE is that I called today - usual procedures and no resolution (again) and have sent them a Packet Trace and Ping test... both I presume will tell them nothing? This is the third time I have done this and despite advising the situation regards the Gateway change etc it still needs to be done - as that's the process. I've checkd VM again and need to be disconnected for 90 days so that's on the back burner now on a medium heat - Really unhappy.
Q. Can they change the Gateway or is just a random AI thing?

It's a random thing. The algorithm they appear to be using makes no practical sense at all. I'm now looking forward to another 3 months (at least) sending my data up to Scotland to reach servers based in the south. I'm so happy to be greeted by Scottish headlines when I wake [/sarc]
The IPv6 theory is working for me right now. I'm running HE (tunnelbroker) to their London gateway and things are better. Over VPN it's much better. But it's not down to us to sort vodafone's problems for them via workarounds.
There's nothing any of the agents can do. Vodafone, in their infinite wisdom keep these things out of reach, even to their level 3 techs.
I've been into my account and checked, they promised me a minimum download of 200Mbit, and I'm maxing at 120 right now.

It's worth noting that IPv4 and IPv6 for the same notional line speed will give the end user the same speed, IP6 isn't faster than IP4. However there may be some gains in routing (this little to do with VF) and in the reduction in DNS lookups enroute (however those lookups would be cached anyway).
IP6 does get end-to-end routing without having to add extra frames for hand-over between domains. There are 3.4 x 10^38 unique addresses in IP6 so they'll last quite a while.
