Home Broadband IP and Router

Can anyone confirm if a Static IP is still available on Home Broadband? The price guide still lists it as a free optional extra, but when I asked on chat I was told it's only available for Business Broadband and not Home Broadband.

Second question - Are the PPP credentials provided so I can use my own router, or do I have to use the free one provided?

Yes, a static IP is available on request, and they will also give you your PPPoE credentials if you ask for them.

I spoke to 2 agents, the first went away to find the answer and then cut me off without replying (I guess he couldn't find it) and the second gave me the answer that it's business broadband only. Add to that 10 minutes each time getting past Tobi asking for my name and phone number constantly and all in all my experience with chat hasn't been the best.

I'll give the link you provided a try and see if I can get a better response.
