Latency issues on the download. Upload is fine.

I have high ping on the download side of my connection along with 16 interleaving depth.

I believe it’s a fault because my stats are actually really good. But the internet is so laggy is basically impossible to use at times. It’s freezing my devices and locking everything up.

I believe it’s going to require an engineer to find the fault and fix it. If someone could take a look I’d massively appreciate it.

They just aren’t trained to understand anything other than the very basics because it’s not cost effective.

If you start mentioning interleaving on anything like that their heads fall off.

their answer to 99% of questions is to reboot the router. Same with every service provider… essentially pointless support for anything other than really basic stuff.

Wow, max sync and 14.2 SNR, you must live next door to the cabinet.

I can't explain the interleave figure, but I wonder if the latency/jitter in the speedtest result is due to Wi-Fi. Could you try a hard wired connection?

The cabinet is at the end of a pretty long street surprisingly but yeah my stats appear to be brilliant and speeds are fine the max line sync is saying 111mb so there’s plenty of head room it’s just latency for some reason.

it’s the same on wired and wires devices … even my phone is laggy especially at peak times it’s driving me mad.

Some of us on here have high latency figures because we have been put on unsuitable gateways, I'm in Southeast Essex but am on Leeds,

I don't notice any problems using my broadband connection but my speedtest results are very much the same.

The higher idle sync is the the distant gateway, When I was on London it was in single figures.

My DSL stats are also similar, although my cabinet is obviously farther away.

So we have similar stats, but a different experience.

Quite how you are going to get it resolved I don't know. I doubt any tests Vodafone will run will find anything.
