MacBook Pro booster connection dropping

Hey everyone,

I have the Vodafone Pro II package with 2 additional boosters. Every device works just fine, except my MacBook Pro laptop, which consistently drops connection - but only when connected to a booster. It works just fine when connected to the main ultra hub.

The laptop is mostly used in the office upstairs, so naturally connects to the booster. Works ok for 5-10mins then stops working, it shows it's connected to the internet, but just hangs. The only way I can get it to work is to turn the wifi on and off on the laptop. Before I got the boosters, no issues at all.

I've been on live chat so many times to no avail and I'm running out of ideas.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Unsurprisingly after I sent my message I ended up having problems all afternoon!!! I can't even hotspot off my phone as the Vodafone signal where I live (which in the middle of a built up area) is non existent 😩

It's so frustrating, I absolutely feel your pain!

Hi, Did you manage to get to the bottom of this issue, Ive also got a 2017 MacBook Pro in perfect working order and it connects seamlessly to any other Wifi network I have used, so Im confident that the issue doesn't lie with the MacBook, it must be something to do with the router boosters (it works perfectly on the main ultra hub, but soon as I get nearer to one of the three boosters we have it drops off within a minute or two. However interestingly my daughter has a 2015 MacBook Air and that doesn't have any issues at all...It's very strange but most annoying, there must be a software fix for it somewhere?? There must be hundreds if not thousands of people with the same issue??

Nope still experience the issue when connected to the booster. Ended up using a Ethernet connection in the home office where i am having the problem
