I'm posting this hoping someone at Vodafone technical support will see this and understand our issues and fix them before we move to another provider within our 14 day cooling off period.
The switch from talk talk to Vodafone happened on Tuesday 5th May. BT openreach made some changes to the cabinet at the end of our street to put us on fibre. Router confirmed signal was ok.
However, we could not access the internet at all. Since then been on phone to Vodafone support who repeat they will make content page control changes but no effect. In the last 4 days, we can now sometimes access a web page of certain sites but is sometimes very slow and intermittent.
Oddly I was able to watch a whole film on "All 4" (channel 4's iplayer) last night. But BBC iplayer cannot load and Amazon prime player cannot play content due to poor internet.
I had thought it might be a DNS issue and changed router settings to Google but no effect.
I need the internet to work for my job and this issue is taking many many hours of my time spent with 1st level Vodafone customer support staff in Egypt. Friendly and helpful as they are, they seem unable to fix the issue.
Please, please, please sort this out Vodafone.....

Hi @KieranT
Someone definitely needs to sort this out for you before Vodafone lose a customer while still within the 14 days cooling off period !
Unfortunately though not from your Post as there is no account access to help you from here.
I would suggest to again contact the Vodafone Broadband Team from calling 08080 034 515 (free from all UK landlines and mobiles) with lines open between 8am and 11pm, seven days a week.
Broadband-and-Home-Phone-FAQs.
Or try the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Hi
Personally I would do some pings using a command line interface.
EG:
C:\>ping 192.168.1.1
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 4ms, Average = 2ms
C:\>ping bbc.co.uk
Pinging bbc.co.uk [151.101.0.81] with 32 bytes of data:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Minimum = 19ms, Maximum = 20ms, Average = 19ms
C:\>ping 13.107.4.52
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Minimum = 18ms, Maximum = 24ms, Average = 21ms
Also clear any caches of old configurations.
I have VM details still on my PC as well as VodaFone, and it needs to be directed to the correct connection.
So you can definitely confirm that the Network, Wi-Fi and ethernet, are running, just the internet that is a problem?
