No internet 5 days after install help!

I have had fttp 900mbs installed from Vodafone on the 25th. It has not worked since it has been installed . Only white flashing light internet light on the router . I have logged into the router and it says no IP address. Have phoned them everyday and same story …… reset router . Still nothing all 4 lights on the fibre box are green . Also I know I can use the 4g back up 18mbs 😔 but the router barely reaches my office upstairs and I am unable to set up the booster without having the fibre running . My service has been cancelled from sky from 2moro so I am going to end up with no internet

If I'm correct in saying, this sounds like a fault with VF authentication. If this was a fault with connection, the light would be flashing red. 

Any idea what I should do . And could it be the router itself 

Nothing that can be done from your end if this is the case. This is unfortunately trying to find someone which understands what this means at VF.

 

Are you a new VF customer? If so, try setting your content controls (usually found on your VF account (or app I think)) - not sure if this impacts anything... My guess is no.

Yeah new customer ….. bad start . I tried the content controls but still nothing I’m guessing I’ll just have to wait

Hi @aaron1901 - I understand how important it is to have a stable connection, especially now. Are you on our Pro Broadband? If so, I'd advise getting in touch with our Wi-Fi Xperts either over the phone or on livechat.

If you are on another broadband package, please either give the team a call on 08080 034 515 or get in touch with us on social media. If you DM us on social media please include your landline/account number, your forum username and a link back to this thread to save repeating yourself.

The wifi xperts are the ones I have already spoke to . All they say is to wait but I can’t just keep waiting around

Tried that 5 days in a row now. Just get the same answers over and over . Reported the fault and looking into it and wait . Or reset router 

My friend literally in the same road has had his installed today and got no problems . This is ridiculous I am still just being told to wait for the fault ticket to be resolved . Seems obvious it’s either the router or an engineer needs to come out
