Ping/Latency way higher Gigafast 900

I used to get 5ms ping to London (from Coventry), now I am being auto connected to Edinburugh and I get 15 ping to there, when I try to speedtest to London or even right next to me in Leicester I am getting pings above 22...I called in and they just said "they added new servers and there's nothing much we can do"...

any help?

At least prospective and current customers will now know that they should not expect low latency on this network. It could be 5ms or you might end up with 20ms, it's pot luck and no one will care. If you want consistently better pings than virgin media, then don't sign up to this service! 

I saw someone do a speed test on Three's 5G service and it was 19ms latency! So we're on par with 5G here. Way to go.

It feels a bit dodgy but at least I'm not being routed via scotland no more...I'm on anew route because I never was going to bracknell before but I'll take the 6 ping

Okay now I'm back to my full speeds and 6 ping, perfect. I hope you guys are all back @Gerry_Atric @Ripshod @seven0007

Nope. Still routed via Edinburgh and still at a crawl

On the plus side £8.40 per day since 21st June sweetens this slightly

No such luck down here in the South near London.

First reconnect gave me the same IP address, the second gave me another one in Manchester.

Looks like I'm stuck on the Manchester BNG for now.
