I used to get 5ms ping to London (from Coventry), now I am being auto connected to Edinburugh and I get 15 ping to there, when I try to speedtest to London or even right next to me in Leicester I am getting pings above 22...I called in and they just said "they added new servers and there's nothing much we can do"...
any help?

Just checking to see how you're getting on. @Ripshod - Sorry that you've not had your connection sorted out yet.
I'm still waiting for a call to discuss the routing issues from the wifi experts team, so I have no updates to bring as yet.

Other than my speed sorting itself out (surprisingly at the same time 3rd line tested and found nothing wrong) that doesn't help me with page loads crippled by the high latency. Yes, apparently I'm still only 40 miles from Edinburgh. Still can't stream, still can't game online

Latency shouldn't affect streaming, and it's strange your Speedtest chose Manchester if your POP is apparently close to Edinburgh.
Does the Vodafone version of the test show the same server? Internet & Broadband speed test | Vodafone UK

Both Vodafone's ookla test and speedtest.net default to Edinburgh. speedtest.net used to show the distance as 40 miles, but I don't see that info anymore online (is it just me?).
2nd line asked me to test to either Bracknell, London or Manchester, I chose Manchester as that was closest physically.
If latency doesn't affect streaming then why am I having the constant 'buffering'? Is it a Scotland/England thing? I dunno. All I can do is report my own experience. Streaming BBC news - nope. Amazon Prime movies - not a chance.
Is it just me now? I may have to raise it again as a seperate fault if it is.

Just had a delve into vodafone's ookla test, it now has me 11 miles from Edinburgh.

Ah hadn't realised you had actually chosen Manchester on that occasion. I always seem to get Manchester by default, despite being in S.E. Essex.
For streaming it is the speed of the line that is important, most streaming will be coming from a CDN, probably situated in the same datacentre as your POP.

Then it looks like the problem is my actual connection to the PoP and not the general state of the routing?
Or could the fact that I'm registered in England and trying to access services from Scotland cause problems? I've had no notifications about that.
I may as well sit back and wait cos nothing else is happening. Some connections have been fixed.

When I saw your graphs in the past, it did look like it was more than just a routing issue. There must be other things going on in the background. Wifi experts should be making sure your actual fibre connection is OK by raising a call with Openreach. Sometimes a dirty fibre connection or dodgy line card can cause strange issues. Then if the connection is OK, VF should then be checking your router configuration (mine was screwed up initially!). I had strange speed issues going on which was resolved by them fixing the broken config and I also turned off the wifi boosters which caused more harm than good.

2nd line have allegedly tested the connection and ruled out any faults. I have the same issues with 3 different routers so not a config problem. No boosters or extenders. Tested with just a laptop and/or a tv connected. It's just dead as far as streaming goes.
One thing I haven't mentioned is my file server. I can connect remotely and browse my files just fine. When I try downloading though it starts fine then quickly falls to 2Mbps then fails. I've given up on that too, I carry a hard drive around with me now.
As bad as it all is I'm resigned to the fact I'll just have to live with it. I'll be advising everyone I know to avoid vodafone - it's not worth it.

OK. So that rules out issues to do with the router, ONT and physical connection. Assuming they did a thorough job checking everything over properly of course - I see you said 'allegedly' and I'd feel the same too at this point.
When you connect remotely to access your file server, is that via a VPN or not?
If you haven't already, I'd consider raising a formal complaint with the director's office especially if support keep fobbing you off when clearly there's a problem here!
