I used to get 5ms ping to London (from Coventry), now I am being auto connected to Edinburugh and I get 15 ping to there, when I try to speedtest to London or even right next to me in Leicester I am getting pings above 22...I called in and they just said "they added new servers and there's nothing much we can do"...
any help?

Well can someone undo that change and "un-solve" it then, as at least to me it definitely doesn't seem like it's solved.

You could start your own thread, and then you would have control over if it is solved or not.

I actually want this issue solved, I don't think making a duplicate thread will help the cause.

I never said it would, but you could then control when/if it gets marked as solved.

Yes, I'm aware that if you're the thread owner you can alter if it's marked as solved or not.
My point was for it to be reversed as the OP didn't do it intentionally either.

I get your point - there should be a way to remove the solved' flag. I wasn't even aware there wasn't. It does seem to easy to hit that button by mistake.
Surely the mods can change the flag if a request is made by the op??

The whole thing is a farce.
Look at the length of this thread. It's over 2 months now with nothing.
Vodafone's Broadband Service Test fails immediately.
Employees on this forum paying lip service - making promises and doing nothing.
Customer Support think I'm on fttc, and insist I plug my router into the test socket for testing or they can't take my case any further.
The vodafone router thinks I am on pro. Can't do anything wifi because the dumb Superwifi has locked me out. The router is now in pieces at the bottom of the garden.
I have a 5G dongle with a great deal, and it's outperforming this broad(allegedly)band.
I'm tied to a contract but I don't give a hoot anymore.
Next step - the press.

I can confirm I've noticed the exact same thing starting months ago and my latency is still high:
Tracing route to one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms vodafone.broadband [192.168.0.1]
2 18 ms 18 ms 18 ms 90.247.128.1
3 25 ms 25 ms 25 ms 63.130.104.202
4 33 ms 46 ms 36 ms 90.255.251.37
5 26 ms 26 ms 26 ms 162.158.32.9
6 25 ms 24 ms 24 ms one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]
I've had better latency using standard adsl

Hi everyone
I haven't forgotten any of you.
I've had an email from the director's complaints office and have reminded them that there are other customers still having the same issue I did. I have asked for details of what affected customers should now do to ensure they are assigned to the correct BNG for their geographical location. I am awaiting a reply and will share any additional details that might be helpful. I'm sorry it's taking so long.

@martinpie I guess you're nowhere near Edinburgh then?
I'm in West Yorkshire and connected to that same BNG (90.247.128.1). Do a speedtest to the vodafone server in Edinburgh, that's the best ping you'll get.
It really is beyond farcical. Anyone else thinking Frank Spencer? 🤣
