I've read numerous threads on forums but I'm really struggling and would appreciate some help connecting an Asus RT-AC86U (NordVPN installed) to a Gigafast connection. I have an unlocked Huawei EchoLife HG612 3B modem but can't figure out how it should be connected or indeed whether it's suitable for a Gigafast
The current Vodafone thg3000g also provides landline telephone which must be retained, will I need an additional VOIP device?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On Gigafast you connect the router directly to the fibre box as the output is Ethernet so no modem required.
Yes you will need an alternative VOIP service as no one has yet been able use the Vodaphone service on a 3rd party router.

Thanks for your help, I've obtained UN & PW from Vodafone and entered fixed IP details in Asus router WAN.
Router internet LED is on and network map reports it is connected, however I'm not able to access the internet and currently attempting to resolve.
