Since 12.21 yesterday, (29/05/24) my Vox3.0v has been restarting roughly every hour. It always gives the reboot reason as "System Self" which is no help really. Firmware version is 19.4.0551-3261143-20231024185100-7efccd9e333e995b72430e4ef45c0f27f265fb5d
Until yesterday, the router was rock solid, but my HomeAssistant logs clearly show it restarting every hour. Nothing has changed connection wise in my house for months, so I doubt its my other kit. Is this a known thing with this router? I'm over a year into my contract now so maybe its a wear and tear thing, although the stats on it show 4%CPU usage and 65% memory usage, which I would have thought was fine.
I have tried leaving it off for a while (fully disconnected) and factory resetting it. Neither made a difference.

@the_blackeagle It takes a while for images to be approved, you are not being ignored 😁

This is very strange, I have exact same problem,
Since yesterday afternoon, (29/05/24) my Vox3.0v has been restarting roughly every hour or two. It always gives the reboot reason as "System Self". same Firmware version 19.4.0551-3261143 also previously until yesterday for last year everything has worked without issue

I had a chat with support. They connected to the router and said they would re-configure something. I then had to hold in the reset button for 20 secs. Obviously lost the chat but they texted a link to me to use on my phone, and I'm glad to say that all now appears sorted. I have to say, of all the companies that have supplied my with various forms of broadband since the late 90's, this has got to be the best customer support I've ever experienced. Router has now been up for an hour and a half so appears back to how it should be. Annoying that I have to set up a bunch of static IP's when its interface is so slow, but I guess that's a small price to pay.

Thanks!
I was having the same issue for the last few weeks. Router would restart every hour. I didn't bother to call vodafone I just did the 20 second reset and it's now been up for 9 hours without restarting once.

@the_blackeagle You may be able to export the router configuration to a text file (often JSON format) for next time, it saves a lot of effort.

The 20 second press of the reset button sounds interesting. Something to remember for the future, if 10 seconds doesn't do it.

This has just started happening to me! Since Tuesday, every hour on the hour! Do you know what the person did on their end, when I phoned they weren’t that helpful and just arranged an engineer. I was trying to explain that for almost 4 years this has been perfect but now it’s literally on a schedule to go off but they didn’t seem to want to listen.

You seem to be the third person to complain of the router loosing connection every hour.
Whatever the problem is, I doubt an engineer can cure it. It sound like a configuration problem at Vodafone's end.
