Switching from VM to Vodafone - Modem mode

Now that Cityfibre have installed their system i my street, I'm thinking of moving to Vodafone for the Full fibre 900 with the Intelligent WiFi Hub.

I run my VM router in modem mode and hang numerous bits of kit, servers, PIs etc and use my own WiFi router.

Can I do similar with the Vodafone router.

if not, can I at least switch off DHCP on the router?

Thanks

On FTTP you'll get an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) or PON (Passive Optical Network) which the router then plugs into - there is no modem as such!  If you don't need the phone, then you can use your own router (there are other threads on this).

So why would you need to turn off DHCP - Home Assistant maybe?
