Hi all,
Ive just upgraded to Vodafone 910 and only getting between 300mb to 600mb download speed. If i change over to the Vodafone router i get around 960mb.
The Asus 82U has been setup and working on 500mb for over a year without issue.
What do you think the issue could be here? The line is an Open Reach one. Do i need to change any settings to get the full speed like i do on the Vodafone Router?
Thanks

The older asus routers are choked by running the built-in apps on them. They're always worth a reset back to factory condition then never activating AiProtection or any of the other apps.

While the Merlin firmware is great, it's more about tweaks, minor fixes, and flexibility. It's rare that running Merlin is going to give you any significant speed increase. One thing I would try though is running a speed test on the router itself if you have the "Internet Speed" tab under either QoS or Game Acceleration, though even this may not be able to utilise the full speed of the connection*
*I'm on 900/100 with BT. The router (GT-AX6000) reports 934/104 (upload is about 10Mbps slower than expected), but an ARM-based SBC here reports 1198/104 (yes the link to the ONT is 2.5Gbps as is the link to my SH1008 switch and from the switch to the NanoPC-T6 SBC).
