It is not acceptable that you can't change the Wifi Channel if a certain device requires connections around that channel. Is anybody else disappointed about this? Most other ISPs and routers allow you to do this.

Total shambles - deal breaker this for me, unacceptable.

I really can't see why Vodafone users don't have an option for manual or auto.
The auto is not always the best and does not always select the best channel, plus there may be a reason why you want to use a channel

The reason the settings are so limited is probably to stop inexperienced users from making settings that are detrimental to performance or even make accessing the internet inaccessible - a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!
Having said that, I think the limitations are too extreme and could be handled far better. What's the harm in letting users manually set their WiFi channel, but if they want to keep it on Auto why not just add an option that stops it from selecting channels 12 & 13?
So I understand why, but I also think it's poorly thought out, and poorly implemented!

You'd think the Basic and Expert Setting would allow Vodafone to at least promote people who want to 'mess' with their router settings. The fact that Vodafone cannot provide internet to 3 devices in my house is a reason to look at terminating the contract.

Version 4.1.0 of the Vodafone Broadband app on Android will solve your problem so you can change the channels. 😉
