Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on getting into settings of my router { type THG3000 }.

The router is working ok but not able to get in via 192.68.1.1 or using a LAN cable.

The Tech department were not much use and failed after 40 mins on the phone.

I am trying to see if it is able to connect to a device via WPS pin as WPS push does not work.

Any advice appreciated

"192.68.1.1"

I'm sure that's a typo (?). Just in case, it should be 192.168.1.1 if you haven't changed the LAN subnet.

What a plonker, it wasnt a typo, I had left the 1 out. I should have posted first as would have saved me a 40 minutes call with the helpline.

I can now progress my investigation as to why an air conditioner/heater will not connect to the wifi/smartphone.

Not sure if WPS push is working as it doesnt connect using that process but at least I can possibly start pairing from inside router as opposed to the button.

Many thanks for helping with my daft mistake......that wont be happening again.

Cheers    Kelvin

The WPS and Wi-fi buttons are always "dodgy", I think it is because they are "soft" i.e. software read, and so when you press it matters a lot.
