Spoke to online help as my WiFi speed drops to zero when in dinning room. 2 rooms from router but with booster in middle on floor above.
was told that my router was too near my window and to move it and that should fix issue. This is difficult and with length of power cable etc can’t be moved in any meaningful way.
have followed advice as best I can ( with resets etc ) and now performance is worse.
Is this a network congestion issue as seems to be around same time each evening

Experiencing similar issues with speed from offs and devices disconnecting. Vodafone also blame everything my end!! Experienced zero issues with previous suppliers, regretting changing to VF!

EE are offering £300 to help with early contract termination fees, worth looking at. We had no issues except the price increase, so going back asap, taking 3 mobile contracts with us!
Customer service at EE is far superior to VF too

Regular glass is not a great transmission material for WiFi, but it's better than concrete or brick, as it absorbs WiFi less. The problem comes when you have speciality glass containing extra metals or a specialist coating. Even then, though, what's going to happen isn't absorption but reflection.
*You should probably check the strength of the WiFi signal, which you can do using a WiFi Analyser app on your phone.
**Worryingly, some new-build houses near me seem to have metallic coating on the insulation blocks and the backs of every piece of plasterboard in them - each room is going to be like it's own little Faraday cage for WiFi!
