Issues with Broadband Speed and Connectivity

On July 16th, we were connected to fiber broadband service.

Since then, we have been experiencing issues with the broadband speed.

When we are on the ground floor next to the router, our internet speed is nearly 500 Mbps. However, when we go upstairs, the speed drops to as low as 1 Mbps, even though the signal strength indicates two out of three bars.

We have tried using a booster, which has extended the range of the signal effectively. Unfortunately, it has not improved the internet speed.

Additionally, we have also used a second router as a booster, but the results were the same: while the range was extended, the speed remained at 1 Mbps.

Previous contract, when we had a connection with a speed of 45 Mbps, it was consistently reliable throughout the entire house.

Now, despite having a higher-speed connection, we are facing significant speed drops in certain areas.

Could you please assist us in resolving this issue?

Thank you for your attention to this matter

That's the nature of wifi. What speeds do you get with a wired connection?
