Just to bore you guys a bit further.😀
Whilst doing my research who to move to, I upgraded to 900MB in the desperation that it might make a difference and nada, exactly same speeds as on the 500MB package, had to ring up to confirm.
Waiting for my phone line to move to A&A, than am out of here, got 14 days to do it in.

Hi,
Does this entry mean the ONT rebooted itself?
10-01-2024 12:28 PM
More like either a short disconnect or the router rebooted. You won't see anything in the log regarding the ONT.

That was my initial thoughts, just weird as router was showing up all the time, that's why thought no disconnect

Not sure if this helps but I had problems and when they replaced router it all went away - it is fully documented in a previous thread..
I am on Business FTTP broadband 1000/100. Ever since it was working well I have had good results.. This is my test today.. I have a static ip address from Vodafone.

Does this make sense?
2nd line support have done speed tests with nothing hardwired and 5 devices connected via WiFi. Speed test came back below minimum guarantee, there saying the WiFi devices are causing the poor broadband speeds. All bar 4 have 5 bars signal, 2 have three bars, 3 have 2 bars in router nenu.
Speed that VF tech ran was below minimum.
Does above sound right?

I've no idea how 2nd line do their speed tests, but I cant see what your Wi-Fi devices have to do with it.
They should only be testing to the router.

Jayach, is right I have Unifi business grade wifi at home and all setup pretty well - but max i can get 250mb/s through wifi - I get the over 900 when wired through ethernet. So It is limitation of WIFI hardware rather than anything Vodafone can sort..

That's exactly what I thought but there insistent that WiFi devices can cause bandwidth loss and "Dr WiFi" was showing mine was 46 out of 100.

I'm getting a bit confused here.
Yes, the Wi-Fi can cause bandwidth loss to the user on the Wi-Fi, but that has nothing to do with the broadband speed that is delivered to the router, and it is that speed that is guaranteed.
Wi-Fi Doctor was/is a software package that is supposed to optimise Wi-Fi for the end user, it's one of the reasons they removed the ability to set our own channels.
It really is irrelevant to a discussion about the broadband speed guarantee.

My thoughts are how the WIFI can reduce the speed between the router and speed test / website.
