PING / LATENCY ISSUES ON AN EVENING

Hello!

Trying to get my issue across to a bigger audience or possibly a tech team member because Vodaphone support sadly wont listen to me after 3 attempts.

Ever since my broadband was installed I've head great speeds/service. 9 PING, 900 down / 900 up.

For the past 2 weeks (im leeds based) the second it hits around 8pm my ping hits 160 and my download speeds get smashed to about 80/90 MB. I have no idea why this has just started to happen, but after 3 firmware upgrades, 2 new cables and 2 routers... the problem is still persistent.

9 ping, 900 down, 900 up - all day every day. 8PM, bang... service runs into the ground until 11/11:30.

Here's a tracing route to BBC and also photos taken just a few hours apart.

Mine has just turned back on this second.

Went off at 10:10pm and just turned back on now at 10:33pm.

My ping is also back to 13ms and I am back to 900up and 900down speeds. Either they have fixed the issue or todays stint is bad connection is over. Will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow

Same goes for me. Mine came on a while ago, but has been very low, 10, 1, high ping, till 22:36 where I'm now getting 11 ping, 800 800 speeds.

I am back online and the connection is back to how it used to be, did they actually fix this !?>!?>!?!?!?!??!

Sadly to say, the net for me has usually recovered around 10-11 pm anyway, so I'm not sure if it's fixed or not.

Seems like a good sign IMO

 

I would be getting it right up until 11PM, im praying this is the fix.

Lets see tommorow!

I should supposedly get a call from the back office to confirm any updates tomorrow!
