I have an iphone 12 mini on Vodafone with 5G signal where i'm testing getting 200mbit download and 80mbit upload. This is tethered to a Mac mini via USB and also get similar speeds as expected.
At home I have a 900mbit up and down Vodafone fibre connection which reaches those speeds more or less. Plenty of bandwidth anyway.
I am running an iperf test from the phone and Mac mini to a machine at home running iperf server and the speed is about 3-5mbit.
It seems the link between Vodafone Mobile and Vodafone Fibre is very slow.
I have access to a BT connection in another location and am getting much better results around 30-50mbit.
This indicates to me the connection from Vodafone to BT is better than Vodafone to Vodafone.
Any thoughts or suggestions anybody?
