Just had an upgrade from 200mb to 500mb and download is excellent as it was before but upload seems way too low, should be around 68Mb.. so why would the upload be so slow as the connection to my house is excellent

@Ripshod was suggesting a factory reset by holding in the reset button for at least 10 seconds, or from the option in the firmware.

That may cause a reprovisioning of the router from Vodafone's end. It's worth a try, unless you have made a lot of changes to the settings.

I tried a factory reset and it's made no difference, I think I got fobbed off by the chat line operator and if I try again they will see my previous attempt and fob me off again so it looks like I will have to put up with it.

Definately don't give up. If you are getting nowhere with standard support, raise an official complaint.

I've been on another chat which was going downhill till I mentioned ( again) that members of this forum reported the routers upload speed is fixed, they had my router model number and then said it is outdated, lol  so getting a new one during the week!

Do let us know what router you get, and if it cures the problem. What router do you have currently, is it the THG3000?

Yes, THG3000, I am supposed to be getting the newest one recently out, hopefully it's all good

That will be the Power Hub (DGM4137VDF), there have been mixed opinions on here, it will be interesting to get yours..

I'd like to get one myself, but I'm stuck with the THG3000. (however I think that it is a perfectly good router for my needs).

Am I to presume that swapping the current Hubs leads on to the new one will just require the new hubs number and password entered into the Vodaphone hub app on my PC?

There's a Vodafone hub app for PC?

I suspect you mean logging into the hub via a browser, so yes just use the password on the new hub.
