Just got FTTP and everything is working fine off the VF router. Phone lines are plugged into the VF router, VF router's WiFi is switched off. 3rd party Mesh has been switched to Bridge mode and plugged into the VF's ethernet port.
However I am shocked at how feature poor the VF router is. e.g. There are no Parental controls at all. I know I can get rid of the VF router and plug my own Mesh router into the Openreach ONT, but what about the Landline.
Are there any 3rd party routers in the market that have a telephone socket at the back to allow the home phone to be plugged in?

I have tried various configurations to get the Vodafone VOIP on my Cisco SPA303 working to no avail, a possible DNS issue?
When I enable the Vodafone line the phone gets stuck with "Checking DNS" on the display, when I disable the line the other lines (nothing related to Vodafone) work perfectly fine.

I got past the "Checking DNS" issue, I missed the following option.
DNS SRV Auto Prefix: yes
However, something I have entered or not selected appears to still be incorrect.

Without changing the mac headers, agent ID, and some other settings (not available on cisco) you're walking a long dead-end street to disappointment.

Only certain grandstream devices have managed to get a connection due to the multitude of differences between normal voip and Vodafone's digital voice service.
Grandstream VOIP devices confirmed to be working with Vodafone's Digital Voice service.

Not as of yet. I contacted Vodafone and have gone through the complaints process and currently with CISAS for Vodafone to provide the details of connection rather than trial and error. I have got it working on the Grandstream HT801 using a DrayTek Vigor 2862ac router with STUN on a dynamic IP, just needed to open a few ports. I also have a Grandstream DP750 on beta firmware but as of yet no luck.

From CISAS/Vodafone:
The company objects to the customer’s claim under Rule 2.2.11. Rule 2.2.11 says that a case cannot be dealt with where it is about the fairness of a subscribing company’s general commercial practices. I have reviewed the company’s objection. It says “For security reasons, Vodafone are unable to provide access to their consumer landline VoIP system, outside of the provided equipment”, and they are unable to provide the information requested by the customer because if it were provided the customer could use their landline number on any device. They say “As this is a consumer Home Broadband service and not a business service where this is explicitly provided, Vodafone are unable to offer this as a service to the customer”. According to the customer’s intake summary, the complaint is about the company not providing VoIP configuration information. Based on the information provided, it appears that the availability of the information the customer requires is linked to the type of service subscribed to (i.e. home broadband or a business service). The information available for each service is about the company’s commercial/business decision, which is outside the scope of the scheme. Unfortunately, we are unable to affect or consider the fairness of those decisions. I find that Rule 2.2.11 applies and uphold the company’s objection. I appreciate that this may be disappointing for the customer; however, unfortunately CISAS is limited as to what matters it can consider, and in this case, we are unable to consider complaints about commercial/business decisions.
