New to Vodafone. Unable to receive BT & EE calls

Randomfifty4

Hi, I've recently transferred ISP from TalkTalk to Vodafone.

As part of the process, I requested to keep my VOIP landline number.

On the activation date, my broadband transferred without issue. I am able to make outgoing calls but have been unable to receive incoming calls for the past week. I've raised this issue with Vodafone a few times in the last week and today, it appeared they had resolved my issue. However, when someone attempts to call me from a BT landline, they get three bleeps and the line disconnects . Same from an EE mobile, three bleeps and disconnects. Calls from O2 and Vodafone (presumably) seem to be ok.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, has it been resolved?

Hi @Randomfifty4. It's concerning to hear that you're only receiving landline calls from certain providers, we understand how alarming this must of been to realise. Face value this issue may have stemmed during the porting process when your landline number was transferred from TalkTalk to Vodafone.

As we don't have access to accounts via the Community, I would recommend getting in touch with our Social Media team so that they can take a closer look.

Thanks for the information. I am currently trying to resolve this issue with 2nd Line HBB Support

@Randomfifty4  - I hope that you're now receiving the calls from those providers, if not, please reach out to us through Social Media and we'll check what's happening.

Hi, I wish it had been resolved........

I've had this issue since activation date on 4th October with no resolution in sight despite doing everything that's been asked of me. I'm getting extremely frustrated now....

Given that Vodafone have agreed to compensate me at £5.25 per day for this inconvenience, I would have thought this would be high on their prioritisation list!  9 days or £47.25 in compensation so far, and still counting.............

@Randomfifty4 - I'm sorry to hear it's not resolved yet. Please contact my team through the Social Media platform options and we'll find out why it's not letting you receive the calls.

I did that yesterday and provided further information as requested by Vodafone. I have been waiting for a response or a resolution ever since but have heard nothing further as yet and still the issue continues. I can only presume that Vodafone are working in the background to resolve this issue. I have been informed on numerous occasions that it will be resolved in 24-48 hours but still this issue persists......

Just to update, I had to contact Vodafone again as I have still had no response. Having escalated the issue yet again, it transpires that my landline number is still with TalkTalk and hasn't even been ported across!

Wow!...... just WOW!

I'm really starting to regret my decision to change ISPs......

Another update...... My issue was temporarily resolved on 19th October 2022. Everything was fine until 19th November 2022. I have the exact same problem all over again!! My elderly, vulnerable parents cannot contact me using their landlines which is unacceptable.

Given the length of time it took to resolve last time, and the fact it's happened again, I no longer wish to be a Vodafone customer anymore.

I am not receiving the service I was promised and would now like to terminate my contract early. Can someone from Vodafone please advise how I do this?
