Why when taking new router did Vodafone change my plan to one where I pay for each call

I had an all inclusive plan covering mobile, landline and broadband but when I recently upgraded my router to Vox 3.0 Vodafone changed my plan to one where each call was charged for, without making it clear what they were doing.

To make matters worse, after I had unknowingly run up £40.25 in calls THEY SUSPENDED MY LINE AND DIDN'T TELL ME, so I  just today found that I can't call out on my landline !!!

Has anyone else experienced this ?

I intend taking them all the way with this, so if you have suffered the same, please respond.
