We've had a 5G GigaCube for a couple of weeks and everything seems to work as it should. Then, this morning, it became impossible to connect via Thunderbird to our incoming or outgoing mail servers shortly after 9.14am (the time of the last email received). Efforts to send or receive emails since then using the GigaCube have simply hung, with the connection to the server being reset.
At about the same time, it became impossible to connect to websites not in the cache. We did the obvious - turning off and restarting the GigaCube - but it made no difference. Ability to connect to websites did subseqently return, but we remain unable to send or receive emails using the GigaCube nearly two hours later. We do have an alternative, Sky, router, and switching to using this has shown that there is no problem with the three PCs experiencing the problem; or with the email server, as emails are flowing normally when using this. It feels as if something is hampering links between whatever the GigaCube connects to (which it does at normal speed) and the rest of the internet.
Any thoughts would be very gratefully received.

Hi @Kluseau, I understand how important it is to have a stable connection. I suggest we look into your local network first to see if that can identify any issues, could you complete our initial network checks to start off please?

If your GigaCube is slower than expected, try:
Moving it into an area of the home with better signal
Reducing the number of devices connected to it at any one time
Other things that affect speed include:
Time of day – at busy times we have to manage internet traffic to make sure everyone can get signal
Where you live – if you've moved to an area with poor coverage, this will affect the speed and quality of your GigaCube connection
If you're still having issues, please chat to us online.
