Hi,

Do you know why this website is being blocked by your mobile network?

Its not blacklisted by google or other DSPs and has no issues.

www.my-bmi.co.uk

Hi @ricardolaverty! We'd be happy to take a further look for you, can you please pop us over a screenshot of the error you receive when you try to access the site through our network? Thanks 🙂

Beth,

I am not getting an error as such, it just stuck and wont load.

The little load bar at the top of my phone loads about 15% of the way then just feezes.

All other sites are fine.

I have checked with another network user and another vodafone user and seems isolated to vodafone network.

@ricardolaverty If you're not receiving a direct error message or blocking message, it's unlikely that this is blocked. Can you confirm if you're using our mobile network or home broadband network when trying to access this? Can you also clear your cache and cookies and try again please? Let me know how you get on 🙂

Hi Beth,

I am using the mobile network.

The error message has now come up and says the following

This Site can't be reached.

my-bmi.co.uk's server IP address could not be found.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG

As i mentioned it works fine on other networks but not on my fiends vodafone or mine.

Ricardo

Thanks @ricardolaverty. A DNS error isn't a block our side, please try clearing your cache and cookies and checking the coding of the site. Please click here for more troubleshooting options that should help 🙂

Hi Beth,

Can you advise what your default DNS settings are?  I dont appear to be able to access these on my iphone.

Ricardo

From what we can tell this is a problem with your DNS server settings.

We have tried this using Cloudflares 1.1.1.1. VPN and many other devices.

the problem seems isolated to vodafones DNS sever settings.

Can you ask someone to take a look please.

Hey , the error you're receiving when trying to connect to your website in caused by a misconfiguration of the site/IP DNS settings. Please confirm which of the below troubleshooting steps you've completed and the result, so we're not recovering the same steps.

  • restart the router
  • Clear the cache and DNS cache
  • change DNS servers
  • Restart DNS client
  • check the hosts file
  • update drivers
  • do an antivirus scan
  • Disable programs such as antivirus and firewall.
