Improving phone reception

I'm moving to an area with poor mobile reception. Is getting a signal repeater an option? I have ok reception outside, but none indoors. Need phone for working from home. Any suggestions?

If you are going to be thinking about a repeater @phladders01 , it won't come cheap, you will be looking at a cost of at least £400.00 for something decent. There is further information on mobile repeaters from the Ofcom site. Take a look at data calling, ideal for when there is limited to no mobile coverage.  You can check phone compatibility and set up procedure here: Data Calling 

If you have a landline and are on pay monthly, a further alternative if to set up a divert from your mobile number for incoming calls to the landline number.
