Waiting for a disconnect-reconnect

I upgraded my iphone on Thursday, and everything seemed to transfer through e-sim, except I could receive telephone calls. Went to my local Vodafone store, who kept my phone for about 3 hours, trying to change the SIM card, reloading e-sim( basically everything they could think to do) 

last resort, they’ve asked Vodafone to do a disconnect then reconnect. Initially they said this takes about 40 minutes, but later said about 48 hours.

my phone lost 4G and reception yesterday (Saturday) so I’m assuming the disconnect has happened. Can only use my phone with WiFi. 
when would I expect the phone to be reconnected?
