So I've been using my mobile to play games on breaks at work for about 8 months, never had issues except the odd minor ones on an infrequent basis. About 3 weeks ago the games have become unplayable and Internet speed has been horrendous and inconsistent. I thought it was maybe the device, but I've upgraded and am now using a brand new device for the last week and major issues still occur. It regularly even struggles to perform a Google search.
I run Internet speed tests and sometimes get 10+ MB p/s download speed, but 5 minutes later I run it again and get 0.3 MB p/s, 5 mins later getting 6MB, and 5 mins later getting 0.1MB. Still getting constant 4g connection with upload/download arrows staying on and consistent during this time too. Sometimes it flickers between H, H+ and 4G with arrows going on and off but its always done that and never caused issues for 8 months. So I'm wondering why suddenly the last 3 weeks its become a daily occurence, at all times of the day, even now with a brand new, better device.
I have checked the tool that shows issues with local masts but they say they're all fine. I haven't tested the speeds in other locations, but never noticed internet problems when ive gone anywhere else. For reference I am in CF83 postcode.
Would desperately ike it to return to how its been for the last 8 months. Any knowledge or solutions would be greatly appreciated, thank you
