No G service

There is virtually no service where I live SO 557 722.  The best signal I can get is 2 bars, no G on a iPhone 10.  It is not my phone as visitors to my house have the same problem.  I appears the Vodafone network is the best as some network suppliers cannot supply any signal.

How come a relatively small organisation, Airband give me a reliable internet link at around 40Mb/s.  They must be better at locating their masts.  I also use VOIP over this link which is as clean as a whistle.

Hi @pykefield, we would love to check the signal in your area. Can you add your full postcode to the Community profile and let us know when you've done this please.

I did include the map reference of my property.  The post code is SY8 3BS which covers 0.4 mile of road which is not much good for checking coverage.  The elevation at the NW end (SO 55563 72337) is 345ft, at my address it is 292ft then 368ft at the SE end (SO 56092 71863).

Thanks for providing that information @pykefield I can appreciate how frustrating it is to have poor signal at home. I have checked your postcode and the surrounding masts and whilst there are no network issues, outages or ongoing maintenance, the area you live in is incredibly patchy and there is exceptionally poor coverage around you.

We are working to improve the coverage and quality of the network in the future to reduce these areas of bad coverage as much as possible.

Whilst there is nothing that can be done to improve the network coverage at the moment, you can use features such as WiFi Calling to keep connected.

According to the WEB site WIFI calling is not available on RED 1GB plan.
