I recall reading the Stephen King book 'The Cell'
This film is taken from that book.
From imdb. "When a mysterious cell phone signal causes apocalyptic chaos, an artist is determined to reunite with his young son in New England."
Here is a Trailer from the film which is due to be released in the U.K on September 1st 2016.
Please be aware the trailer contains moderate footage.

I've not heard of that but will take a look.
I always found Stephen King film adaptations to be a bit hit and miss, though I enjoyed Misery, Cujo and Pet Semetary.
The remake of Stephen King's IT has got my attention, though I think they'll struggle to top Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown.

All good titles @redpages
My favourite book from Stephen King is The Stand.
The made for Tv adaptation wasn't too bad either.

@BandOfBrothers if you ever manage to find it (I got the series on disk from HMV way back in 2004) give Animal Kingdom a go. It wasn't written by Steven King but was adapted by him into a series. It's a great watch!

Wasnt one of my favourites, would class it as OK but nothing more (IMHO).
John Cusack used to be one of my favourite actors but its been a while since he has made a very good film.
