Telephone Customer Services

I have been a member on the forum for a long time and have helped and been helped over the years. The forums are a wealth of knowledge for consumers and more often than not easier than speaking to customer services to be blatantly lied to about specific issues because they are unsure of the solution.

What amazes me is that a lot of the customer service staff are not even aware that Vodafone have an active forum that is actually helping customers :smileysurprised:

The forum team still seem to be a little secret that Vodafone dont want anyone to know about and its such a shame that the moderators and staff dont get the support and thanks that they truly deserve. The forum should be advertised far more than it currently is, I for one, will use the forum for a solution before calling customer services, and to be fair will probably get a quicker, more acurate response from the staff on here than the staff on the end of the phone.

So hats off to the hard work all the forum staff are doing, I know its difficult at times, but the fact the forum is still running and has an ever increasing number of members is a testiment to your enduring efforts, well done :smileyhappy:

You will find that the old customer service we all no the people are now moved to other departments the New customer service is just a call centre staffed by people that do not no there product range I had one that had no idea what Android was i ask what phone she had she said its a apple thing I think ummmmmm

Now it is a look of the draw if your unlucky there on training and you might as well forget it or they pass you through to sunny Egypt and you might as well talk about the weather with them

Now if your lucky there a supervisor or there from scotland or irland

Oh and yes mention your on the eforum they say who oh that s just for advice

so what are customer service there for just answering the phone ????

Thanks Bobbin!

We're working on better advertising for the forum, I absolutely agree with you that we're not well known enough. We're the only network forum across the whole of Europe to my knowledge that offers any member full online and offline support, so we really should be jumping and shouting about the site!

I have lots of plans in place with my boss to achieve this, but it'll take time and we've been focusing on other things until recently. Still, at least you know we're working on it now :Smiling:

Tom

The only problem with getting bigger Tom is this pops up on Managments radar and they start sticking there nose in,you and the eforum team have helped a lot and we have some other good eforum members, We don't want Management wrecking all the good work that has been put into this,

But Its not all Vodafones doing this a lot are down to the members as well

As for the Customers what is still happening is that People are calling up, There is still no Customer service option, Then when you get through the person on the other end is no help at all, So the person is wound up to the max Next port of call is facebook, No help there but they do point them in this direction.

May be a Message on the phone system to either the support section Or the Eforum, This would save all the agro and disappointment

My other worry is we get good staff then they get moved and there replacements ar rubbish, Thankfully this has not happened yet

The other worry is we have been pritty free to voice what we want, Hopefully this will not change

I agree. I just wish I had asked the name of the man (sounded Indian speaking) who helped when I got a new phone. I can't access a lot online as our home computers are too old. We have no Vodafone reception and phoning the help number didn't help as they couldn't understand what I wanted. Thanks to phoning the complaints number, it was easier to get to a real person who transferred me to my old number to my new phone and transferred my credit. And he didn't speak to me as if I was an idiot! This was just a few days ago, and I was very, very grateful. Thanks to Mr X..

Oops! By the time I got my comment done, there were a whole lot of other emails after the one I wanted to reply to. I need to learn a whole lot more!
