ive been using messaging +. it works ok but keeps saying cant connect to service. when i go to settings and try to confirm my phone no. it says its incorrect! is this because i ported my no. and if so how can i fix?

It sounds like the Phone might not have the correct APN settings in place?
Do you have the correct Message centre number stored?
Open the Message+ App click on the 3 dots, choose Settings and make sure the Message Centre No. is correct.
You can test it by sending a text to 9770. Vodafone will text you back if it's working.
