Hello, my broadband was upgraded to full fibre today. The engineer did not finished the testing after Openreach connected the fibre outside, so I used chat to Tobi to get someone to help me set up the connection correctly. It went very well. And the end of the conversation however, I was asked for an Account Health check to make sure Vodafone has up to date custom information saved on the account. I was asked my billing address, email and phone number, which I gave out over the chat. Is this legit?

Did you question this with the online chat advisor @lamdar ?
The information Vodafone requested was confirmation that all contact details were up to date at the time of upgrading. If the information had changed, you certainly wouldn't have wanted billing notifications going to an incorrect email address.

Thank you. Maybe I was too cautious. I just found it a bit odd that I was asked all these details at the end of the conversation, which hasn’t happened to me before. I guess there is no harm giving out these info.

I understand your caution @lamdar, especially if it's not happened before. All our agents are now checking the details held on our customers accounts when they reach out to us, especially if it's been a while since we last spoke to them. Apologies for any alarm this may have caused.
